It helps reduce glare from sunlight while adding protection against bumps, vibration, and weather during motorcycle rides.

The extended sunshade helps block sunlight to improve screen readability in bright conditions. The top lip also helps deflect rain away from the screen, reducing unwanted touchscreen input caused by water droplets.
